Description
Great set of 4x 686S / EA104 (swivel) and 2x 686 / EA103 (non swivel) Alu Group chairs design by Charles and Ray Eames in 1957. 1st generation of the chairs, the pedestal base being in use from 1958 till 1973. Probably purchased at the end of that production period. Herman Miller sticker glue leftovers visible on the base.
Naugahyde in great condition, although might use a good wash with special products, mostly on the backs.
Chrome layer unfortunatly damaged on almost all elements (backs and bases), except the arm rests. Use of the chairs is therefore not impaired at all.
And they are very comfortable!
Great opportunity to get yourself a nice set of 1st generation design classics, without paying full collector prices (750-1000€/pc), nor the high price of new ones (>2000€ / pc).
Collection in Diest (BE 3290).
