Een eenmalige vroege editie van de Aluminum Group No. 684 (EA124) lounge chair ontworpen door Charles en Ray Eames voor Herman Miller, circa 1970–1980, in gepolijst aluminium met groen/khaki textielbekleding, 99 cm hoog × 65 cm breed × 78 cm diepte, Zeeland, Michigan, VS, in goede gebruikte staat met lichte ouderdomssporen.



Stunning design and of course famously well known; the Aluminum Group No. 684 (also known as EA124) by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller, This is a rare early edition that has been well-preserved, it has the 4 way 'pedestal' base which was only in production from 1957-1973, making them highly sought after. Made of quality metals and fabric and not to forget the tilting function that can be adjusted in strength depending on your weight for the ultimate sitting relaxing experience! You sit and you want to stay seated..The frame and the fabric are still in fantastic original condition. The chair was in a holiday home and was more for the show then actual use, so it is still in great state without stains in the fabric or much scratches. Of course it has some small signs of use, there is bit of slack in the chair, which is common with these older models. The brand label has been either removed or fallen off in time, but the authenticity is unmistakeable, there is also a mark stamped into a part of the tilting mechanism.The metal is all still in good condition without flaking or spots and has that beautiful patina about it that only time and use will give it that charm. Seeing as it is the polished aluminium finish it is the most durable and practical finish because unlike the chrome plated or powder coated versions that will start to peel off or fade over time, the polished pure aluminium can just be cleaned and polished again to bring it back to its original charm.See fotos as part of the description.The colour is a mix of what looks like dark green/grey woven with white.
