Hello, I am selling this rare find of a neck !

This is a vintage fender 62 RI bass neck, produced in fender factory corona (just after Fullerton’s closing) USA, in 1986.

Those neck, with the incrustated silver « original fender necks » medaillon were sold by fender in 80’-90’, before the licensed neck from Warmoth, WD, allparts hit the market.

It has the classic feature of a fender 1962 precision bass neck:
- 7,25 radius,
- 44,5mm nut width,
- slab board,
- thin 60’ oval neck profile

Neck neck had some 70’ style tuner in the past.
Holes have been filled, and some new 60’ have been done to accommodate 60’ tuners.
The neck is straight, truss works function and the frets are still in very very good shape. Rosewood is dark, figured and looks stunning. It has a Thin nitro finish with some patina.
Overal, a lovely neck in lovely condition for its 40 years old!
