Very nice late-production JV series Contemporary bass made in Japan during the highly regarded FujiGen era.

• Jazz Bass nut width with slim neck profile

• P/J configuration (Hot rod P-4D & hot rod J-5DR) USA electronics
Very good overall condition.
Frets are in excellent shape and everything works perfectly.
Punchy and very growly P/J tone, with strong midrange presence that cuts easily through a mix.
The JV Contemporary series is considered a precursor to the later Fender Japan Boxer serie and Jazz Bass Special famously used by Duff McKagan.
