Antoine Di Mauro was one of the earliest and most celebrated French luthiers to market his own Selmer-style guitars, starting in the late 1930's. Di Mauro never earned the credit that Selmer and Busato did, but were probably way more popular and earned a reputation as fine working player's instruments.
