This lovely tanpura sounds great. Fitted with the extra 2nd string, it allows the tuning to add an extra note which helps support the raga at hand. The flexibility of the extra string opens up a new dimension to the overall sound.

Originating from Miraj and sold by Shemssuddin Instruments, it has a great sound quality. Presently tuned to C, its range can go as far as D. The full bone bridge has recently been optimized and with its scale length at 105.6 cm, it has a fabulous range of overtones. Its total length is 150 cm and the complete instrument has been recently revised, and checked. This instrument is in excellent condition.

New strings are fitted, and it comes with a green padded travel bag.
