Catherine d'Aragon est née Catalina, l'infante espagnole, de parents à la fois souverains et guerriers. Âgée de quatre ans, elle est apparentée à Arthur, prince de Galles, et est élevée au rang de reine d'Angleterre. Elle ne doute jamais que c'est son destin de régner sur cette terre lointaine, humide et froide.
