Dit boek vormt een uitvoerige kennismaking met Oracle Developer/2000 Forms. Met dit tool kunnen snel en efficiënt applicaties worden gebouwd, waarmee op eenvoudige wijze gegevens in een database kunnen worden geraadpleegd en gemanipuleerd.

De opzet van het boek is zeer praktisch van aard. Aan de hand van gerichte opdrachten wordt u in staat gesteld zelf stap voor stap een realistische Developer/2000 Forms-applicatie te bouwen. De theorie van Forms wordt aan de hand van deze voorbeeldapplicatie toegelicht. Dit betekent dat niet alleen de bediening van Forms wordt beschreven, maar ook wordt aangegeven hoe dit tooi op de juiste wijze in de praktijk gebruikt moet worden. De meeste hoofdstukken zijn voorzien open opgaven.

Leerboek Oracle Developer/2000 Froms is in eerste instantie bedoeld vooor het onderwijs op HBO - en academisch niveau, maar het is tevens bij uitstek geschikt voor gebruik in practicumsituaties en bij zelfstudie. Daarnaast is het boek goed bruikbaar ter ondersteuning van een Forms-cursus.
