Here is a review from Hifitest.de, you can find more online:
Regardless of the amplifier chosen, it's the Apertura's treble range that immediately impresses. On the turntable is once again the outstanding "Unplugged In Berlin" concert by Willy De Ville, which Werner Meyer captured with truly impressive authenticity. And you can hear it here: a great deal of detail and expression in the voice, but nothing artificial or even exaggerated. Willy's voice has that characteristic grain; you can trace the compression action precisely – it simply sounds live. The piano has body on both the Accuphase and the Class A monoblocks, but the E-5000 delivers a bit more substance, which I would prefer here. With the latest album from the atmospheric rockers My Sleeping Karma, the eight-inch driver then gets to show what it's capable of – and it does so remarkably well: it builds an absolutely credible and stable foundation for the shimmering and dense melodic parts. There's no trace of bass-reflex-induced boominess; the tuning is exceptionally well done, and the elaborate damping of the cabinet clearly pays off. The separation of the soundstage from the speaker is absolutely perfect, allowing the Aschaffenburg band to present themselves with the spaciousness and fullness they deserve. To further assess the vocal character, we turn to the late Leonard Cohen, and this too is a perfect fit: In addition to the fine and precise rendering of the voice, the remarkably stable and compact soundstage is striking in the title track "You Want It Darker," with the vocals clearly separated from the rest of the mix – just as it should be. All in all, the Edena Evolution proves to be a very complete, finely detailed, and tightly tuned universal solution for a wide range of musical tastes, with its extremely precise treble range being a particular highlight.
