This Warhol Cow Triptych reflects the first series of wallpaper designed by Andy Warhol (1960s). The artist claims the source of inspiration derived from Ivan Karp (an art dealer) who would exhort Warhol into painting cows. As Ivan Karp would say to Warhol, "Why don't you paint some cows, they're so wonderfully pastoral and such a durable image in the history of the arts."
