Netsuke van een hurkend konijn - Boxwood - Japan - Showa-periode (1868–1912)A finely carved Japanese netsuke in the form of a crouching rabbit, worked in boxwood (tsuge). The rabbit is shown curled compactly with its head lowered and ears laid back along its rounded body, giving it a naturalistic, resting posture.
