The shallow dish is finely painted in underglaze cobalt blue with a delicate composition of a bird perched on a fruiting branch laden with berries, a popular motif symbolizing prosperity, abundance, and harmony with nature.The reverse is marked with the single character (Fú), meaning "Happiness," "Blessings," or "Good Fortune."
