The circular body is adorned with geometric motifs and flanked by twin stirrup-shaped handles, resting on a sturdy tripodal base.The censer is accompanied by a carved and pierced hardwood cover, topped with a hardstone finial, possibly carnelian, enhancing the elegance of the piece. It is further presented on a carved circular tripod hardwood stand, complementing the form and heightening its display presence.The piece exemplifies the Qing dynasty’s fascination with archaistic bronzes, combining ceremonial form with decorative refinement, and reflects the period’s skill in bronze casting and wood carving.Dimensions: H12,2 x W8,5Condition: Very good, with a few minor superficial scratches and some tarnish. The inside shows minor green spots. The hardwood stand is glued to the censer. The hardwood cover has a (glued) drying crack. Please examine the images carefully.
