This is an impressive combination (in very good condition) - the Canon 50E is known to be one of the most popular advanced beginner film cameras made by Canon in the 90s, becoming an icon in film photography . This camera is very easy and enjoyable to use. It's an autofocus, autoexposure 35mm SLR camera .
It's a very full featured camera, with some very nice touches, the standout features are as follows:

• Revolutionary eye control focusing, once calibrated, look at one of the three focus points and half press the shutter and it will pick that focus point - and yes, it really works very well.
• ISO film range 6-6400, which can be set manually or auto to recognize DX coding.
• Timer with 2 second auto-mirror lockup, which can be switched on or off.
• 30 second - 1/4000th max shutter speed (also has bulb mode).
• Mid-roll rewind to swap films out if necessary - very handy.
• Almost foolproof metering, the metering on this camera is extremely reliable.
• An excellent pentaprism viewfinder which is very bright, the matt focusing screen makes manual focusing very easy.
• Eye controlled dof preview, this is really handy and works very well, just glance into the top left corner after focusing and it will stop the lens down to give you a dof preview, refocus using your eye to cancel. It sounds gimmicky but once you use it you will appreciate how handy it is.
• Camera shake warning - the shutter speed blinks if the shutter speed is slower than the reciprocal of the lens focal length by more than one-half stop.
• Multi-exposure mode for up to 9 exposures
• Dep mode where you can focus on two separate points and the camera will choose the settings for maximum dof
• Onboard flash with GN of 13 at ISO 100 and 50mm
• Reliable and accurate auto-focusing of all EF mount auto-focus lenses, so your choice of lenses is huge, from cheap plastic fantastics all way through to L class lenses.

The lens has an impressive ultrasonic focus motor - it's quite impressive. It's on pair with modern lenses regarding focus speed, and gives rich results for all-round situations. Very precise and satisfying. It has impressive range and will work well on full-frame cameras.

Body condition: Camera is in mint condition. Very little signs of use. Hard to find a specimen like this, these days.
Lens condition: The lens is free of fungus, haze or dust, real good condition.
Case condition: Looks like new. No signs of wear. There's a satisfying leather smell.
