The US-produced Elite T-series is designed as an alternative to the traditional Ovation Elite series. The classic, multi-piece wooden epaulet decoration around the soundhole has been replaced by a simpler, unfinished pattern that further emphasizes the low and mid frequencies. The maple neck has also been made slimmer, making it look and feel more attractive to electric guitarists. The entire back and top are finished with an ultra-lightweight, yet incredibly durable, textured enamel coating.
