Gretsch G242OT/FS Electromatic Hollow Body with Bigsby in Firebird Red, presented in as new condition.
This guitar was purchased new approximately six months ago and has seen extremely minimal use. In reality, it has only been picked up a handful of times for a few minutes, and has otherwise been carefully stored. As such, it remains in genuinely new condition, with no visible wear, marks, or issues.
The G242OT/FS is a classic full hollow body Gretsch, known for its rich, resonant tone and vintage character. Equipped with dual Filter’Tron-style humbuckers and a Bigsby vibrato, it delivers everything from warm jazz tones to rockabilly twang and clean, articulate chords.
A beautiful instrument both visually and sonically, finished in the iconic Firebird Red with chrome (silver) hardware and classic Gretsch styling throughout.
I simply don’t have the time or discipline right now to properly learn and enjoy this instrument, which is a shame, as it truly deserves to be played and appreciated.
