The "Tochi (栃) Guitar" project highlights the traditional spirit of Japan through the use of tochi wood, a highly regarded and widely distributed high-quality Japanese wood found predominantly in the eastern region of the country. With its distinctive grain and natural beauty, tochi wood offers a stunning texture that is further enhanced by the "DBL-B (Dawn Blue Burst)" finish used on this model. This finish evokes the reflections of the ocean at sunrise and accentuates the undulating patterns of the wood. Each model is unique as artisans carefully adjust the coloring to bring out the best characteristics of the wood.

Tochi wood used for the body of this guitar possesses exceptional tonal qualities. Its clear and crystalline sound extends from the midrange to the treble, offering precise response and balanced tones. It also exhibits good strength and moderate weight, making it an ideal choice for musicians seeking versatile sounds, whether clean or saturated.

Adoption of the Mojotone® HSH style made in the USA. At the bridge position, we have chosen the "Classic Hot Humbucker" humbucker model. By adding a modern touch to the traditional humbucker, we have slightly emphasized the bass and adjusted the sustain for a longer duration. The coils are wound asymmetrically, with different numbers of turns between the two coils, enhancing harmonics and high-frequency response. This allows for clear and precise tones in both clean and overdriven settings, with powerful bass and rich sustain.

In the middle position, we have installed a "Classic Strat®" single-coil pickup designed to produce a clear sound with precise definition. While maintaining classic specifications, we have precisely measured the distance between the pole pieces in each position to achieve an optimal balance of sound quality and volume.

Momose's flagship "Modern Virtuoso Series" embodies the term "Virtuoso," which refers to a master or virtuoso in the realm of arts, particularly music. We have incorporated specifications that meet the demands of the contemporary world, where everyone can express and share their music, through Momose's unique interpretation.
