I removed the pickguard day 1, flawlessly - the wood does show some wear there from playing - no scratches
A very beautiful, impeccably finished, pleasantly playing and sounding guitar, in a slightly more compact, comfortable shape.
It's still the 'one and only' acoustic for me, but I only play nylon strings now.
