Na een leven lang als primair vervoersmiddel met brommers en gewone motoren te hebben gereden kocht ik deze driewieler bij wijze van test of dit type motor wat voor mij zou zijn.

Ik reed er zelf +/- 200km mee en concludeer dat het rijden met 2 voorwielen niet voor mij is weggelegd.

Motor staat te koop voor weggeefprijs; ik liet er 3 nieuwe banden op plaatsen, motor is steeds in onderhoud geweest bij een officiële Piaggio-dealer. Laatste 2 facturen hiervan zijn voorhanden. Motor draait en rijdt perfect. Enige "mankement" is het ontbreken van de functie die ervoor zorgt dat de motor bij een rood licht recht blijft staan zonder dat men de voeten op de grond moet zetten. Dit is wat mij persoonlijk betreft geen mankement; het is een complex systeem dat allerhande problemen kan veroorzaken. Door afwezigheid ervan worden ook die problemen bespaart.

Après avoir utilisé des cyclomoteurs/mobylettes et des motos classiques comme principaux moyens de transport toute ma vie, j'ai acheté ce tricycle pour voir si ce type de véhicule me conviendrait.

Je l'ai parcouru environ 200 km et je peux conclurer que la conduite d'un tricycle n'est pas faite pour moi.

Je vends ce tricycle à un prix très avantageux ; trois pneus neufs ont été installés et l'entretien a toujours été effectué chez un concessionnaire Piaggio agréé. Les deux dernières factures sont disponibles. Le moteur tourne et la conduite est impeccable. Le seul « défaut » est l'absence du système permettant de maintenir le tricycle en équilibre à un feu rouge sans avoir à poser le pied au sol. Personnellement, je ne considère pas cela comme un défaut ; c'est un système complexe qui peut engendrer toutes sortes de problèmes. Son absence permet justement d'éviter ces problèmes.

After having ridden mopeds and regular motorcycles as my primary means of transport for a lifetime, I bought this three-wheeler to test whether this type of motorcycle would be right for me.

I rode it myself for approximately 200 km and I can conclude that riding with two front wheels is not for me.

The motorcycle is for sale at a giveaway price; I had three new tires fitted, and the motorcycle has always been serviced by an official Piaggio dealer. The last two invoices for this are available. The engine runs and rides perfectly. The only "flaw" is the absence of the function that ensures the motorcycle remains upright at a red light without having to put one's feet on the ground. As far as I am personally concerned, this is not a flaw; it is a complex system that can cause all kinds of problems. Its absence also prevents those problems.
