When his uncle was killed by a burglar, Peter resolved to use his new powers to fight crime. Thus was born the Amazing Spider-Man, Marvel’s most popular character of all time.

The Amazing Spider-Man is the flagship of the Spider-Man titles which have included Marvel Team-Up, Spectacular Spider-Man, Spidey Super Stories, Web of Spider-Man, and (just plain old) Spider-Man.
