The module includes five QSFP28 ports that support 100 Gb, 40 Gb, and breakout modes (4×25 Gb or 4×10 Gb). Its purpose is not to switch production traffic, but to process, manipulate, filter, and optimize network packets before delivering them to monitoring and security tools.
