Description
This great Glenrothes edition was distilled in 1984 and bottled in 1996. As this expression is still from the beginning of the bottling of their own malts (besided distilling for blenders), the number of bottles were limited and hard to find nowadays.
Colour: Full gold
Nose: Notably
flowery, then fruity and nutty (a touch of sherry). Both sweeteness and dryness.
Body: Silky, very smooth
Palate: Sweet maltiness. Almost malted milk. Creamy. Orange skins. Peaches. Fleshy. Sherry trifle. Good depth.
Finish: Grassy. Lightly peaty. Dry.
