KENTUCKY STRAIGHT BOURBON WHISKY
En tant que fondateur de l'industrie du bourbon, le colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr. a laissé un héritage indélébile. Son dévouement à la distillation a commencé à la fin de la guerre civile lorsqu'il a acheté la distillerie O.F C. Il y a développé des techniques innovantes qui sont toujours utilisées aujourd'hui. Ce whisky bourbon en petits lots fabriqué à la main est vieilli dans d'anciens entrepôts construits par E.H. Taylor, Jr. Les navires sont évalués et sélectionnés pour créer un mélange parfait de caractère distinctif sans précédent. Ce bourbon est un véritable bourbon à couper le souffle qui rend hommage à l'héritage intransigeant d'E.H. Taylor, Jr.

La distillerie Buffalo Trace est une distillerie située à Frankfort, dans le Kentucky. Elle a toujours été connue sous différents noms, notamment la distillerie George T. Stagg et la distillerie O.F.C. La marque de bourbon du même nom, le whisky Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon, a été introduite en août 1999. La société affirme que la distillerie est la plus ancienne distillerie en activité continue des États-Unis.

La distillerie est située sur ce qui, selon l'entreprise, était autrefois un ancien passage à bisons sur les rives du fleuve Kentucky, dans le comté de Franklin. Elle doit son nom au bison d'Amérique. The Sazerac Company, une entreprise familiale américaine de fabrication et d'importation basée à La Nouvelle-Orléans, en Louisiane, a acheté la distillerie en 1992 et est aujourd'hui la société mère de Buffalo Trace Distillery.
