Gaston Clément (1878-1973) was niet alleen een grote kok, als "raadsman in de kookkunst" stond hij vele keukenprinsessen met raad en daad bij tijdens het koken. "De nieuwe raadsman in de kookkunst" verwijst waarschijnlijk naar het bekende kookboek "De raadsman in de kookkunst" van de Belgische kok Gaston Clément (1878-1973). Dit boek, dat in 1952 voor het eerst verscheen en decennialang werd heruitgegeven, is een culinaire klassieker in België en staat bekend om zijn uitgebreide recepten en advies voor thuiskoks.
