The IWC Aquatimer was first released in 1967 and was the Schaffhausen manufacture’s solution for scuba divers.

Waterproof to 200 metres and made in stainless steel, the most notable feature of the watch is its internal timing bezel. Unlike more traditional external bezels that are prone to damage, the Aquatimer’s is placed underneath the glass and is operated by turning an additional crown on the side of the watch case.

Today, the Aquatimer is available in both three-hand and chronograph versions with either a rubberised strap or integrated bracelet. For those looking for a dive watch with an alternative design approach and an accessible price point, the Aquatimer is undoubtedly a solid choice.
