Tudor Prince Date in a special and rare version. The white dial features a (company) logo of Philippine Airlines. This watch dates from 1998 and was commissioned in a small edition and donated to employees of this airline. Tudor is of course the daughter brand of the world famous Rolex. Fortunately, Tudor has made beautiful watches over the last 30 years that are strongly derived from Rolex and this is a good example of that. Rolex also has a history with ‘company logo dials’, such as the ‘Domino’s dial’. Advantage to Tudor; Easily available, affordable and the Tudor timepieces can be maintained by any good watchmaker. In addition, they of course come from the Rolex factory, so you are assured of top quality and a value-free purchase. Definitely a recognizable Rolex style, case, crown and glass. Equipped with a bright white dial with beautiful applied indices & logo. This watch has a wonderfully comfortable size of 34mm and is therefore perfectly wearable for both men and women. The Swiss Made Tudor movement runs great and looks like new with perfect running values. Not surprising, it has just returned from a complete full-service at a top watchmaker (van Hoof, invoice for €275 is included). The Tudor Oysterband is in neat condition, folded version and period correct, little stretch and fits wrists up to 19.5 cm. The only aesthetic defect that is noticeable is that the crown is missing a piece of chrome in the Tudor shield. There is nothing wrong with it, but if you look in detail it is noticeable and we would like to mention this.
