Description
Freshly restored TR3 from 1957. A lovely car in perfect condition that has quite the power to it.
Exterior:
Winchester blue paint (matching number color) was recently redone and well maintained, no signs of any chips or tears in the paint. The wheels are nicely detailed with chrome hub caps.
Interior:
The interior is restored and is detailed with vintage black leather which gives a special feel to it. The carpets are also new, the car comes with 2 black rubber mats to protect the carpet. A new canvas soft top is included, as well as a tonneau cover.
Mechanics:
The TR3 is powered by a Standard wet liner inline four with a 4-speed transmission. Car drives and shifts very smooth.
History:
The Triumph TR3 is a British sports car produced between 1955 and 1962 by the Standard-Triumph Motor Company of Coventry, England. A traditional roadster, the TR3 is an evolution of the company's earlier TR2 model, with greater power and improved braking. Updated variants, popularly but unofficially known as the "TR3A" and "TR3B", entered production in 1957 and 1962 respectively. The TR3 was succeeded by the Michelotti-styled, mechanically similar Triumph TR4.
