Limiting the thermal spread caused by the temperature rise of the turbo and the exhaust manifold in the engine compartment of the Honda Civic Type R FK2 and FK8, this Mishimoto heat shield fits the standard K20C turbos without any modification. Offering a resistance of up to 1260°C, this heat shield, made of silica, stainless steel and titanium, will keep the intake and cooling system away from the high temperatures of the forced induction system in favour of performance and reliability !
