The original “Standing Woman” was created by the well known sculptor Gaston Lachaise (1882 Paris - 1935 New York) and is nowadays the best known sculpture of the French American artist.
“Standing Woman” is an attractive nude sculpture that presents the typical characteristics of the female nude figures made by Lachaise: sensual shapes, female hips and pure nudity.
