Sappi Collection 10th Natural History Portfolios by Alan M Hunt

In 1997 one of the foremost wildlife artists in the world Alan M Hunt was commissioned by Sappi to produce the 10th in the series of natural history portfolios. The Sappi Collection is a project designed to raise funds for conservation projects in South Africa.

Alan M Hunt produced 12 paintings which were made into a Limited Edition Box Set of 18 x 14-inch prints 995. The first 50 contained a small unique original painting by Alan.

The project raised over 7 million Rand to help support conservation and the economic plight of people living in South Africa.

The previous artist who have been commissioned by Sappi include John Mayor, Robert Bateman, Ray Harris Ching, Thalia Lincoln and David Ord Kerr.
