Seven pp. introductory matter includes description for each plate. From the architect himself comes this title on his late 19th century architectural masterpiece. Not so much B&W as chocolate brown and aged ivory, each image is surrounding by a gilt box with lettering the same. Interesting note: TOC skips plate 16 and lists a plate 18, though all plates are present and individually correctly labeled. Portfolio a mild olive green (with red cloth corner holders) and gilt lettering. Front/reverse have marks (reverse has a whitish stain in upper, lower left-hand corners), showing shelf wear with spine starting to fray. Page edges show soiling, age-browning, wear, minor tears. Pictures in very good condition
