The registration number 184291 shows that the pattern ‘Chantrey’ was registered on the 3rd December 1891 - a description of the pattern reads: "A printed design, the centre a flowering vine cluster, the border three trailing sprays of cornflowers, brambles and grasses, the brambles fruiting and flowering”
