The Axis M1034-W combines Wi-Fi access with high resolution HD 720p video, able to capture sharp clear footage from locations where network cabling would be difficult or costly. Wireless Protected Setup (WPS) is supported for easy connection with network resources, as is the IEEE802.11n standard, providing greater range and transmission speed than other IP cameras.

For low-light conditions, the camera features a built-in LED. This ultra-bright LED illuminates the scene for identification in complete darkness. There's also a built-in PIR sensor, detecting moving heat sources as they move past the camera, allowing the camera to detect movement at night and illuminate intruders for easy identification.

The M1034-W also offers 2-way audio, featuring a microphone and speaker integrated into the compact casing. Camera operators can speak interactively with people in view without the need to connect external audio hardware.
